The group travelled to Loros' Ratcliffe Road, 'Day Centre' in Leicester to provide 45 minutes of song and entertainment for a lively group of patients and staff to round off their days activity at the centre.
It was a real pleasure to sing for such a friendly audience. They also proved that they could sing as we rounded off the set with a carol 'sing-a-round'. The joy on the audiences faces as they picked up on songs they knew was very gratifying and they listened attentively to less familiar numbers.
We were able to present a donation cheque for £100 which was collected from the East Midlands favourite community choir Global Harmony when they heard we were singing for Loros. The charity does a super job. The Day Centre had a lovely warm feeling as soon as we went in.
Keep up the good work guys and maybe we'll come and sing for you again soon. We sang for the Thursday group but as our contact said "There's the Tuesday and Wednesday group as well!
